Great place , great food, awesome bar
Stopped by for breakfast a couple of years back. Had a wonderful meal and enjoyed the atmosphere - reminded of us travels from our childhoods. This stop is one of our fondest memories of that vacation. Glad to see the place seems to still be in business and if we ever get back to Mt. Hood then we will visit again. Thank you for the fine food and wonderful memories!
MoreQuick service, good food (BLTA on sourdough).
Taste
Great baseball steak, friendly staff.
Good food and service. Recommend any menu selection and the oysters.
Nice diner with good food and a good atmosphere to reflect mt hood
Chef Bridgette serves it up hot and fresh!
Delicious steak salad with Homemade dressing!
Good restaurant
Looks like it needs a remodel and the bathroom was yuck, but the food was great and our server was a really helpful lady with a great sense of humor. I loved my BLTA, the burger was great and the soup of the day, chicken noodle, was delicious.
MoreDisappointing. A long. long wait for a mediocre, overpriced breakfast. Asked for crispy hash browns, they came to me undercooked and rubbery. German sausage in omelette was cool, and coffee was weak. Yuck, plenty of better choices around.
MoreSorry.... this is the worst experience I’ve ever had in a public restaurant. The food was overcooked and just gross...Three kids meals and a hamburger for $45?!?!? Silverware was literally crusty, the men’s restroom is straight out of a horror movie, server was nice but unlike the advertised sign.... anything but quick service. I had the eebie jeebies the second I walked in but didn’t turn around like my gut told me to.
MoreGreat food and service!
Great atmosphere
Cute, quaint, good drinks
This is the best place to eat when driving back from ski bowl. The sandwiches here are fantastic! It felt welcoming and very small town diner. This place is is a hidden gem.
MoreVery nice.Had a good breakfast.
Friendly ! And very good food
The waitress is also the chef.Good food
Our family has eaten here many times when in the area ,great chef and staff we had dinner &breakfast the prime rib was the tender&juicy for breakfast we always have the biscuits & gravy with there house made gravy with the best hash browns on the mountain
MoreHad breakfast, German sausage omelet, everything was awesome!!!
Where to start, wouldn't even rate a one star hair in my hubby's food, hash browns way under cooked, urine all over the seats in women's restroom, every time we said thank-you to the waitress no your welcome back! No manners awful food!
MoreFriendly atmosphere with fresh food made to order. Great soup selections. Best prices around, even cocktails beer and wines. We have tried all menu choices and there's always something to satisfy our appetite.
MoreGreat food, great prices and the service is great.
Seems like a place the little Cala hang out at. Huckleberry pancakes were great. We’ve eaten breakfast all over the Mountain. This place is no better or worse than anywhere else. The prices were great. Service was good. I will try again for lunch or dinner.
MoreAlways great company and food.
Gravy was more like grits. Hash browns were undercooked, basically raw potatoes. Piss poor food and personality to match.
MoreI don’t know if it’s because I ate freeze dried food for 4 days.... but these were the best blueberry pancakes I’ve ever had! This breakfast place is everything you want, giving you delicious griddle pancakes with a classic diner feel. Ignore the yuppies posts on here, you can tell they are just missing their avocado and toast.
MoreThe food was okay, and none of us got sick, but the service wasn't what I expected, and the dishes all seemed a little greasy.I have been here before, and I appreciate that they are easy to get to from the National Forest, but they have so much more potential. All in all, probably safe to eat here if you are hungry, but not what I would recommend over alternatives.
MoreCozy atmosphere, de-lish food!!
Good food, inexpensive, real American diner experience. Very good service. We liked it and would go back.
MoreHorrible! What they call an omelet is a couple of eggs fried with some ham in between. I had a hair in my food and the lady serving the food didn't wash her hands before prepping our toast.
MoreNot only was my food cold. We were told that if we didn't want to wait we could go else where. They were not very busy lot of empty tables. Only had 2 people working. We were not given silverware until after food had arrived. Then when it was time to pay the cook was very rude when we asked could you take the Pepsi off the bill because we never received it. I will not visit this place because of this.
MoreTotally cool restaurant really nice folk. The food is spot-on.
Stop here every time I'm on the mountain, the eggs Benedict are the best! Love the potatoes!
MoreVery nice waitress/cook/owner
Excellent food and awesome service.
Worst food ive ever had soda was flat way over priced and didnt even get my order right and the owner has a really bad attitude me and my family will never visit this place again
MoreFood good. Has German food if you like that
